Planning is an essential process of teaching. It provides the teacher with a transparent process to go through, and that reflects on the students’ learning. Students will be able to have a clear expectation of what they will learn so that they can work according to that. Planning can be considered as the center of teaching because it allows the teacher to set clear goals, plan activities according to the goals, choose the grouping system, and prepare assessments that fit with that. It lets the teacher to link between the activities and the lessons, to reflect later and plan for the next steps.
